Q: I need to get a development organization off the ground quickly. Can you help me with that?
A: Absolutely! We have helped a number of organizations get their development environment up and running, and have helped fulltime
staff become more productive with new tools and techniques. We'd be more than happy to talk with you about your needs.
Q: How long has your organization been in business?
A: We've been at work providing software engineering services since November 1997.
Q: We are planning on using your multicast package in our soon to be released product. Can we contract with you
to provide support for it?
A: Yes. Please contact us to work out a support arrangement. Arrangements can be done on a per-incident basis, monthly, or
a combination of the two.
Q: We'd like to use your multicast package in our commercial application. What licensing fees do we need to pay?
A: There are absolutely no licensing fees whatsoever. You can use the multicast package however you want. All we
ask is that you give us credit within your documentation, and that if you make any changes to the source, you send the changes to us to
fold into the product.
Q: We need some changes made to your multicast package so that it can be used for our solution. Can you guys do them for us?
A: We would be happy to take suggestions for changes, however, we cannot in any way guarantee that the changes will ever
make it into the product. If you are willing to contract with us for the changes, I'm certain we could arrange something.
Q: My office is located in San Diego. Can Team345 provide services in California?
A: If fulltime onsite coverage is required, then the answer is no. If you would like a dedicated team located on the east coast that
can travel to your office on an infrequent basis, then we can probably work something out. We typically only create relationships with
organizations that are within our local area: Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts.
Q: I am a software engineer and would like to join Team345. Are you taking applications?
A: No, not at this time. We intentionally keep our organization small so that we can provide the most hands-on service to our
customers.
Q: We need help maintaining our Oracle database and Unix network. I see that you have experience with both Oracle and various
flavors of Unix. Can you help me here?
A: While we do have a high level of expertise with both Oracle and Unix, we are not by any means DBA's or system administrators. If
you need infrequent DBA or unix system admin tasks to be completed in addition to software development work, we may be able to help. If you need
a full or part-time DBA or unix system administrator, we may be able to point you to some individuals we have had good experiences with.
Q: I need to train my fulltime staff on Java and Borland JBuilder. Do you guys do this kind of thing?
A: We do not take on training-only opportunities. We focus on architecture and development foremost. However, if training is a small part of
an overall software development relationship, we welcome it!
